We had so many choices in blood glucose meters it was hard to take a decision. I looked over the website with about 40 choices, and then I went to the drugstore and saw quite a few more choices. I was really confused. There seemed to be no end to the kinds of meters. I talked to Jim, who was also as confused as I was. We both had been diagnosed about the same time. We both went to the same support group and were trying to keep to diets and exercise. So far we were both doing fairly well. I lost about 8 pounds in the last two weeks, and Jim has lost about 10. Not bad for the short period of time we were into it. So I took all my meter stuff to work and looked over the choices at lunch. I didn't have time any other time, as we were really busy. I even had trouble at lunch, because Todd sat down and started talking. And once he gets going there is no stopping him. I finally had to get up and walk away from Todd, who continuted to talk to me as I walked away. I was even inside and he was talking up a storm. I finally just picked out a meter and ordered it.
