I did a lot of Internet research. I asked around. I even looked through the phone book, but is it really so hard to find a good personal injury attorney that isn’t too expensive? My wife was actually shoved down by a co-worker who was stressing out last year and she fell against a sharp corner of a desk and seriously hurt her back. Naturally, the company fired this co-worker, but we both wanted to pursue this legally. The problem is the price. Neither of us makes enough money to hire a good lawyer and the only way we’d be able to pay him is if we won and won big. That basically means for our lawyer to get paid he’d have to be guaranteed a win. Now the case looks open and shut, but there’s always legalities and loopholes. For one thing, this co-worker has since gone into a mental home for treatment and there is a part of me that would like to leave her alone given all she’s going through. However, she did hurt my wife and my wife had to take time off work to heal. We have insurance, but we still have medical bills we have to pay off and this is all that woman’s fault. We have to do something about it.
