I spent my entire weekend on the computer reading about eye laser surgery options. There is so much material I need to weed through yet. I know, for sure, I don't want to spend my money on glasses or contacts anymore. Anyways, I needed something to distract me from all the other stuff that's been on my mind lately. The major thing going on in my life right now is that my girlfriend and I have been having some problems. We've spent almost every single day together since we first met and, after three years, I think we're finally reaching a breaking point about some things. Our interests have obviously become very different. It's only natural, I think. I wouldn't expect her to like some of the stuff I'm involved with and I don't understand why she can't see that I don't have an interest in every single activity she wants to do. I thought it would be good to spend a weekend where we did our own thing for a change. Needless to say, she didn't take the news very well. She hasn't really talked to me since I brought it up on Friday. I still love her very much, so I hope this isn't a permanent thing. I think eventually she'll come around, but she just needs some time to get used to the idea.
