I can’t believe how much Detroit Pistons Tickets cost these days. I was just surfing the internet and read that Detroit was going to be in our neck of the woods this summer. They are one of my wife’s favorite teams, so I figured that I would check out how much the tickets were going for and maybe surprise her. I almost fell out of my seat when I saw that they were almost sixty dollars. Come on – Sixty Dollars – Detroit Pistons are a second rate team. When I was in high school, which wasn’t even all that long ago, I could go see most of the games that I liked at The Palace for between five and ten bucks – now it costs more than six times that. Man do I feel old now; next thing I know I’ll be telling my kids how bread only cost twenty five cents a loaf when I was a kid, or how much gas cost when I started driving. I may feel like an old coot, but I don’t think that my surprise at the cost is too exaggerated – I really think that spending sixty dollars for one ticket to a two hour concert is absolutely outrageous. Maybe I’ll just surprise her with some flowers instead.
