Tara said she was so glad that we had decided to check out lasik in Los Angeles, rather than just sticking to what we could find at home. I was too. We saw three doctors, and each seemed to be much better than the other. And all of them were better than what we could find back home. Tara brings up the doctor with the numbers for patients and laughs. She was wondering if hundreds of patient would be lined up assembly line style and the doctor would go down the line and operate. It was not an image I wanted to keep in my head, though it was funny. The fist doctor we saw was very nice, offered us come coffee and encouraged us to ask any questions that we might have. Tara had a list of questions written out. Mine were in my head, and mostly she had all the important ones written out. I liked this doctor and was ready to settle and just go with her, but Tara wanted to see all the ones that we made appointments for. I agreed after awhile, but the traffic was just horrible getting to them. We were late for our second appointment. But I think the doctor was running behind as well. We waited for about 20 minutes once we got there. Our consultation was short. The doctor seemed very professional, had many testimonials and was ready to go as soon as we were. I thought this doctor was okay too. But still, it would not work for Tara. She wanted to visit with that last doctor. I said okay, let's go.
