There are all sorts of different places on the Internet where people can look up and apply to receive a free diabetes test kit. All one would have to do to qualify for it is to be a United States citizen with diabetes, either type 1 or type 2. Also they would have to have medical insurance, and any of the major companies would qualify, including Medicare, Medicade, Blue-Cross, Blue-Shield or other private insurance companies. Also to qualify, a person with diabetes would need a valid prescription from a doctor, although the companies would call your physicians to receive this. It is nice for people with diabetes to have such resources available to them. It makes their lives a little easier to have such helpful things at their disposal. You can only hope that these people with diabetes know that such things exist for them, and that people show them how to take advantage of these resources. If they do not, then they could have a long, expensive road ahead of them, and that is not the way anybody should have to face anything. It is really a shame that there are not just cures for some diseases, and that people even have to deal with such things.
